About the event
The Sparkle Mentoring Program is proud to introduce our upcoming College Tour Initiative, an immersive and transformative experience designed to expose young girls to higher education opportunities and empower them to envision their future with confidence.
This multi-day tour will include visits to several North Carolina colleges and universities, including North Carolina State University, North Carolina Central University, Winston-Salem State University, North Carolina A&T State University, and Elizabeth City State University.
Through this experience, participants will gain firsthand exposure to college campuses, student life, and academic environments—many for the very first time. The goal is to make higher education feel real, attainable, and within reach.
Program Focus & Impact
During the tour, mentees will participate in guided discussions and interactive sessions covering:
How to identify and choose the right college fit (academics, culture, environment)
